Context
Long heating hoses had to be tested for their thermal distribution in a reproducible way and evaluated for quality assurance.
My Role
I developed a C# program for an automated, servo-driven thermocouple measurement system.
Technical Challenge
The measurement had to be performed over heating hoses up to 25 m long. The results needed to be useful not only as individual values, but as understandable thermal profiles.
Solution
The system moved a thermocouple automatically along the test object and generated heat maps for quality assurance.
Impact
The solution made thermal irregularities visible and supported reproducible quality assurance.
